Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Receive inputs for volumes, revenue and profitability targets, estimates of headcounts, overhead expenses and investments from various departments
  • Clarify with each department rationale for their budgets, wherever required
  • Provide collated budgets for approval and highlight any concerns or recommendations
  • Set up and drive adherence to finance processes for different accounting activities
  • Assess profitability, monitor cash flow position and bank balances;
  • Approve cheques for payments as per defined limits
  • Vet various sales schemes for promotions and incentives against budget and provide feedback
  • Submit required information to stakeholders as per defined formats
  • Resolve export and import transaction disputes
  • Periodically monitor receivables and payables
  • Review finalization of Financial Statements and notes to accounts, liabilities of company while preparation of final Books of Accounts
  • Seek inputs from tax consultants on indirect taxes for new projects and structuring and filing of corporate taxes
  • Guide and monitor preparation of Board agenda, finalization of Board Resolution and compliance with statutory norms under the Companies Act and filings
  • Decide areas to be audited during internal audit activities
  • Review and approve estimated standard costs for upload on to the system annually
  • Monitor transfer pricing audits and review reports
  • Monitor Industrial variances and recommend corrective measures to Manufacturing
  • Drive compliance with Costing records
  • Assist HR in recruitments
  • Conduct performance review and planning of subordinates
  • Provide development & growth opportunities for identified talent
  • Resolve escalated people issues

 

Experience Required

At least 5 years finalization experience in manufacturing (excluding article ship) + SAP knowledge + other day to day work.

 

Skills Required

Should good SAP knowledge
