As the world embraces the new normal, we, at Paragon also have also prepared ourselves to provide a safer, more protected environment for our workers at the warehouses. We have chalked out a warehouse sanitization workflow on the basis of government regulations for the safety of our workers and in effect, the safety of our community.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection methods to prevent the spread of COVID-19 before work resumes.
360° Sanitization
The virus is known to live on inanimate surfaces for a period of 72 hours. Thorough cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces including doors, floors, gates, shutters, doorknobs, systems, racks, and other surfaces have been made mandatory. The disinfection will also be carried out by zone. Office area, stairs, power backup room, restrooms, and safety rooms will also be sanitized thoroughly to ensure safety before the workforce resumes their duty.
Thermal Screening
Mandatory thermal screenings will be conducted at gates and entrances. As per the government regulations, the temperature of each employee is to be recorded and documented. Any employee with a temperature of over 37.4° is to be reported to the security team and the warehouse manager. The employee is then sent home for self-quarantine for a period of 14 days.
Distribution of PPE
As a norm, personal protective kits are to be distributed to workers. Gloves and masks are to be worn by employees at all times. The employees will be directed to dispose of the used PPE kits at the end of the day.
Hand Sanitization
Hand sanitization will be made mandatory before entering the premises and at regular intervals every 2 hours. Hand sanitizers will be placed at the entrances of gates and doors. Each packing station will also have a hand sanitizer that will be used every 2 hours.
Social Distancing
Until there is a cure for the virus, the only measure to curb the spread of the virus is social distancing. A 6 feet distance is mandatory at all times and will be strictly enforced. The social distancing norm will be followed in packing stations, work, and leisure time.
These preventive measures will be put in place as we gear up to serve our patrons and get back to the new normal. Our warehouse teams keep products moving and we strive to help keep our hardworking people safe, clean, and comfortable.
