Role:

This role exists to visualize & create design prototypes of footwear WITH the objective of providing suitable designs for production WITHIN the limits of style & material guidelines provided

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Stay aware of concepts such as seasonality, themes, trends and suitability of designs for manufacturing
• Analyze market trends & competitor products to understand design direction
• Understand the needs of the customer to be fulfilled as briefed by Design Head
• Break down the brief provided into design elements
• Propose designs aimed at differentiation in the retail space, or existing successful designs in the market
• Visualize and conceptualize new designs for the segment allotted
• Decide on color schemes and materials to be used, based on customer needs
• Refine the concept using rendering tools
• Coordinate with Development and Production teams to transfer the requisite techniques of manufacturing
• Modify designs as per feedback received from Production and Developer

Experience Required

5-10 years  (each will be heading individual portfolio, eg: Gents, Ladies and Kids).

* One of the senior designers should be a lady as she will be leading the designs for the ladies segment.

Qualifications

Degree/PG in Design from FDDI, CLRI, CFTI, NID, NIFT, NIT, IIT,DJ Academy of Designs, Pearl Academy etc
